About Us

We’re Waterfront Bar & Grill, and we’ve been an American restaurant here in Kewaunee, WI, for over 40 years. We offer specialty pizza, burgers, wings, a full-service bar, and much more. We’re looking forward to partnering with Kewaunee and the surrounding areas to continue to offer a premier bar and grill experience. We’d like to personally invite you to stop today!

Our Story

Alli and her husband had been regulars at the Waterfront Bar & Grill in Kewaunee for years before eventually getting the chance to call themselves proud owners. Alli’s husband had always wanted to purchase the bar and grill, as he had spent over half of his life as a valued customer, and had developed a feeling of family that couldn’t be replicated or replaced. It was like a second home to him. A family friend had owned the bar and decided the time was right to turn it to the new owners to carry on the location’s proud history. A lifelong dream came true, as they could call their favorite establishment their own, and continue the strong feeling of family and community that they had felt as customers over all the years.

Located on beautiful Lake Michigan, Waterfront Bar & Grill is thrilled to be serving up fresh food and daily drink specials for residents and visitors to Kewaunee and the surrounding areas. We offer a wide variety of menu options ranging from our homemade pizza, soups, and chili, to salads and burgers so that we have a little bit of everything. We’re committed to providing only the freshest ingredients for our customers, so that they can feel good about what they’re eating.

Our outdoor seating lets customers take in a beautiful view of the lake while they enjoy their meals. We offer daily food and drink specials, dine-in and take out, and the ability for free drinks on your birthday. We’re known in the area as the “Original Birthday Bar”, where customers can drink free on their birthdays and get half price drinks on their half birthdays. A sense of community has always been important to us, so rewarding our customer’s and acknowledging them is what makes us special. We’ve felt the community’s support throughout the years, and we want to return that support. Our goal for our customers is to provide consistent good quality food and service so that every customer feels like family, no matter what walk of life they’re from.

Of course, we wouldn’t be anywhere without our amazing staff. When you stop in to Waterfront Bar & Grill, you’ll be greeted with a smile and a positive attitude that makes you feel like you just arrived home. Not sure what to eat or drink? Our wait staff is happy to answer any and all questions, give recommendations and daily specials, and pass along any dietary restrictions or allergies to the kitchen so that you can enjoy your experience to the fullest. Our kitchen staff works tirelessly to provide the highest quality of meals so every member of your party leaves happy and satisfied.

Come check us out on one of our Fish Fry Fridays, where our kitchen serves specials of locally supplied seafood, hand breaded in restaurant to provide the highest quality and taste that our customers have raved about. If seafood isn’t your thing, we have plenty of other options and daily specials so you can find a meal that’s perfect for you. We’re located at 215 N. Our first visit on our way to Sturgeon Bay. Yummmmmm Grilled Cheese, cheeeeezy. Onion rings, BESTESTEST in Wisconny and Haddock sandwich aka Garnier. Friendly and Fast service.

Join us! Cars, trucks, motorcycles, trikes, slingshots all welcome!!! This ride is in memory of Brad Vanness, who passed away from myocarditis. In Brad's memory, the Brad Vanness Scholarship Fund has been set up to assist a Kewaunee high school student entering a trade school after graduation. All proceeds go to this fund. In conjunction, Brit Stokes, out of Nashville, will be playing the same evening at Waterfront! Come support a great cause, enjoy a free meal upon return from the ride, and listen to some fantastic live music!!
